About this saree

Dense gold zari brocade covers the entire body of this Banarasi soft silk saree, woven in an intricate geometric and floral pattern. A wide gold zari border with fine motifs frames the drape, while the pallu is worked in rich, closely woven gold. A slim contrast edge adds definition along the border. The brocade has a subtle tonal shimmer.

At about 639 grams, the saree has a fuller hand feel that suits its rich look, yet the soft silk drapes easily. It comes in two colours, a deep bottle green and a rose maroon. The saree is 5.5 meters long with a 0.8 meter unstitched blouse piece for custom tailoring. Both shades look their best with gold jewellery and a plain matching blouse.
