About this saree

This Banarasi soft silk saree is woven with peacock feather buttas across a self-patterned body, and the pallu features large woven peacock motifs that make a strong statement. A contrast border and pallu shade give each colourway a lively two-tone look. The peacock pallu is the highlight of the design, with detailed feathers woven in contrast thread that stand out clearly when the saree is draped. Smaller feather motifs on the body tie the look together.

At about 555 grams, the soft silk drapes gracefully. The design comes in eleven pairings, including green with chiku, maroon with gold, parrot green with purple, purple with rama, royal blue with sky blue, rama with baby pink, rani with navy and wine with pista. Each saree is 5.5 meters with a 0.8 meter unstitched blouse.
