About this saree

This Banarasi soft silk saree has a very dark green, almost black base woven all over with a gold zari floral jaal. The border is a wide band of gold zari decorated with temple-style motifs, and the pallu is woven densely in gold with fine patterns. A plain dark section near the pallu shows the depth of the base shade.

At about 675 grams, the saree drapes with a rich, full fall. It is a single-colour design, 5.5 meters long, with a 0.8 meter unstitched blouse piece. The deep base and bright gold make the zari stand out strongly, so it suits evening weddings and receptions, especially under warm lights where the gold glows. It is a reliable dark-shade option.
