About this saree

This navy blue Banarasi soft silk saree is covered in small copper zari buttis and finished with a broad copper border and a heavy rose-gold zari pallu. The pallu is long and richly woven, so when draped it covers much of the front and gives a luxurious two-tone effect of deep navy and warm copper. The look is regal and highly photogenic.

At about 510 grams the silk has a fuller hand with a fluid, swirling fall, as the photos show. It comes in one navy and copper colourway, 5.5 meters long, with a 0.8 meter unstitched blouse piece. A navy blouse with copper accents, as styled in the photos, keeps the look balanced. It is best cared for with dry cleaning, which protects both the weave and its sheen.
