About this saree

Inspired by classic South Indian silk styling, this Banarasi soft silk saree features large gold zari leaf buttas on a rich solid body, paired with a contrasting pallu and border. The pallu is woven all over with fine zari patterning, and the bold colour pairings, such as red with parrot green or bottle green with mustard, give it a festive, bridal-family feel.

At about 450 grams the silk is soft and light, with a smooth fall that is easy to pleat. The photos show four colour pairs: bottle green with mustard, purple with yellow, red with parrot green and wine with pink. The saree is 5.5 meters long and comes with a 0.8 meter unstitched blouse piece.
