About this saree

This Banarasi soft silk saree follows the festive gharchola look, with a bold grid of zari checks and a woven floral motif inside each square. A deep green contrast border and pallu, woven with gold zari, frame the bright body and give the saree a celebratory, bridal-family feel. The green blouse shown in the photos carries small zari buttis.

At about 475 grams the silk is soft with a comfortable medium weight and graceful fall. The design comes in two colourways, rani pink and wine, both paired with the green pallu. The saree is 5.5 meters long and includes a 0.8 meter unstitched blouse piece. It is best cared for with dry cleaning, which protects both the weave and its sheen.
