About this saree

This Banarasi soft silk saree carries a pashmina-style texture with Kashmiri kachi work weaving. Small multi-colour thread florals and pure zari are spread densely across the body, and the pallu is woven richer still, giving the saree the soft, shawl-like look that Kashmiri weaves are loved for. A woven zari border runs along the edges.

At about 693 grams it sits in the comfortable middle range: substantial enough to feel premium, light enough for a long function. The texture is soft with gentle, muted colouring. It comes in blue, cream and a red and maroon shade, each with a running blouse in the same colour as the saree. Saree length is 5.5 meters.
